anon. it was a fun thing to write about for a few weeks. gonzalez contacted me. i knew he was going to do a tongue-in-cheek piece. i'm still watching and rooting. phils fans are going to rip on mets fans and vice-versa for ever. it is a uniuqe "plight" to be a Mets fan. i think we can all admit that.

ok i understand your point, i'm a mets fan and yes i took some time away from them but i kept saying to myself they will get through. Since you have started this "Forget the Mets" or as John Gonzalez the Philadelphia Inquirrer wrote "Loved to Loathing" then everyone will give up hope for the mets. And yes there is the time when we cannot take enough but do you really want a philly paper making even more fun of the mets by this? I hate to break it to you but you kind of sound like the new mascot for philly. Toughen up and just keep hoping for the best. And if not then hey frontrunning works? i think?
