A few things to keep in mind. Mangini probably made a mistake hiring a first-timer to be offensive coordinator. The Browns&#39; best weapons both HAD to be traded in Braylon Edwards (who was going to bolt) and Kellen Winslow (who wanted to be the game&#39;s top paid TE via Drew Rosenhaus.)<br /><br />Combine that with the fact that the rebuilt right side of the offensive line has failed, the tight ends have been very unhealthy, and Jamal Lewis is 104 years old in football years, and you have quite the predicament.<br /><br />At some point, I keep expecting them to play a little better on offense, but it might not happen this year. This team can&#39;t execute a screen pass. They don&#39;t give any QB long enough to go long. They fake end-arounds to Josh Cribbs 7 times a game and only let him carry it a few times all year.<br /><br />A date to keep in mind though is December 27th. Browns fans have mostly conceded that we will in fact lose to the Lions on November 22nd. But December 27th the Browns host Oakland at Cleveland Browns Stadium in a grudge match the likes of which Charmin will never be able to clean up.WFNYCraighttp://www.waitingfornextyear.comnoreply@blogger.com
