He could be useful in a strict lefty/righty platoon with Lastings Milledge as Milledge has thus far struggled against right handed pitching, and Green is still quite good at hitting righties. He's 29 and has a career line of .271/.311/.375, or exactly what he did this season. His catch in the NLCS was amazing last season but his only real asset is that he's relatively cheap.
