You Spin Me Right 'Round Baby, Right 'RoundI feel like maybe I jinxed Q? Let's review. Back in late June, I penned a lighthearted post called "The NBA: Where Amazingly Mobile Happens." It was about how the Association, at least for this 30-something fan, seems to have become a bit more of a carousel in recent years and, frankly, I have a hard time keeping up. This is especially true when it comes to some of the more frequent travelers. Anyway, I somewhat flippantly threw Q-Dog at the tail end of that list. He'd just landed in Memphis.
Fast-forward a little less than a month...July 20. New post entitled: "Q-Rich is a Ramblin' Man." That was in response to Richardson getting shipped to his third team this summer as he took off from Memphis to Minnesota. Here was my opening paragraph of that post:
Regardless, I sure to do hope Richardson finds a home soon. Even if it's just for a few months.

"It's hard for me to feel completely bad for NBA players who've accumulated many millions of dollars over their respective careers. Yet, I am experiencing some mild sympathy pangs for my boy Q?Well, hopefully Q-Rich didn't get too settled into his new environs in Minny. Why? Well, it seems the rumors were true. The new poster boy for NBA transience is now heading to Miami. That's four teams this offseason. That has to be some sort of record. I mean, right? The good news? I'm no South Beach fan, but I'm guessing most NBA players would choose the current Heat and Miami over the Wolves and Minneapolis about 99.9% of the time.
Regardless, I sure to do hope Richardson finds a home soon. Even if it's just for a few months.
