Missing: Former #6 Overall Pick (last seen New Orleans, LA)

Have You Seen Me?

Case Type: Endangered Missing (High-Risk Bust Potential)

Last Confirmed Sighting: January 2008, New Orleans, LA

Appearance: Gholston, currently referred to as "ghostman" for his invisibility, is a freakish physical presence standing 6'3 and approximately 265 pounds. His physical stature has drawn the attention of casual and hardcore fans alike, in particular his python-like bicep region which received the prestigious NYC Sewer System Award from Spencer at EDSBS for having "huge, huge pipes." During his playing days for the Buckeyes, Gholston at times dominated as in this short clip during which he bullies 2008's #1 overall pick Jake Long.

Circumstances:The situation surrounding Gholston's disappearance is both curious and disturbing - yet, somehow not overly surprising. A top selection of the Jets, this frightening scenario has played out with said organization before with startling similarities time and again.

Rumors & Leads: While Vernon's last confirmed sighting was shortly following the BCS National Title game in January of 2008, tips have been received connecting him with locations in Cortland and Hempstead, NY. Strangely, despite reportedly being a member of the New York Jets, authorities have yet to receive any leads linking Gholston to appearances at the Meadowlands or elsewhere in NFL stadiums across the country.
