Plaxico Burress
Yea, It May Be a Few...Shot Myself in the LegYou simply can't make this sh*t up. The Big Lead and others are reporting this fine Saturday holiday morning that Plexiglass Burress went out last night and got himself shot up in da club. FOXSports.com, who was among the first to share the news, says that Burress, a lightning rod for controversy and conversation this season, more specifically shot himself in the leg before heading to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Suffice to say, Burress is out "indefinitely" and will not be running any patterns or catching any passes (a proposition that was already greatly in doubt) for this Sunday's showdown against the 'Skins. Of course, we are infinitely more interested in the next layer of detail to this tantalizing story. It begs so many natural questions.
How exactly does one "accidentally" shoot oneself in the leg? Which club? Do they typically allow players to tote around handguns in said club? What caliber of weapon might Plexi have been packing? Was he shaking his groove thing when the gun discharged? Bottle service?
Kidding aside, guns are like bad mmm-kay? Gosh, we can't wait for this one to play out.
