I need much more time to process this. So much more time...for now, guarded joy.
Remind me to throw up when his arm falls off in a year. But we'll worry about that down the line!

good deal - this opens door even wider for the Tigers......
Let's hope the Mets get him to sign for well less than the $25 million per year asking price he is reportedly looking for. This whole extension is going to be a precursor for CC Sabathia's contract extension requests. We all know that Cleveland isn't going to pay any $25 million to a single player.
And GoTigers, may I remind you that the Indians are STILL the team to beat in the AL Central. The Tigers had a superior lineup last year and still got handled by Indians pitching. Dontrelle Willis doesn't scare anybody.
